Job description
We are looking for a Director of Leisure Sales to join Shiva Hotels Group Shared Service Sales Team. Shiva Hotels Group is a dynamic, privately owned company on an aspirational growth path.
Our Director of Leisure Sales will be responsible for creating the leisure sales strategy for Shiva Hotels Group and lead and inspire the leisure sales team, ensuring individual targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and implementing a sales activity plan for the leisure segment.
- Monitor, analyse and report on performance of key leisure clients.
- Establish strong relationships to promote accommodation and the hotels' F&B outlets.
- Attend exhibitions and sales missions, nationally and internationally, as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Preferred Hotels and Resorts contacts and US Sales Representatives.
- Travel between hotels when required for client meetings, show-rounds and FAM trips.
- Nurture the development of sales team members.
What should you bring?
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in leisure sales, in the London hotel market.
- Travel experience attending sales missions, travel fairs, with multiple daily appointments.
- Knowledge of leisure market and experience building closer client relationships.
- Experience of selling a portfolio of hotels in London.
- Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitor trends and develop approaches to these trends.
