You are a leader with a proven track record. You can motivate and guide teams toward exceeding budgeted sales goals. You can develop and implement sales plans to achieve both short- and long-term business goals. You have strong customer service and negotiating skills. You:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Have 5+ years of direct sales and sales management experience.
- Have a technical understanding of the CRM system.
- Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Your responsibilities as a Director of Sales
- Develop sales plans designed to meet or exceed customer growth and revenue targets.
- Communicate overall plan, strategy, and matrix requirements to field personnel; monitor and evaluate results.
- Monitoring activities and results; make recommendations for strategic adjustments to maximize growth opportunities.
- Help recruit, interview, hire, train, and guide direct sales staff.
- Handle territory assignments and adjust to achieve optimal account coverage.
- Handle personnel issues, including performance appraisals, coaching, and training.
- Assist with budget preparation and provide input on broader marketing issues.
- Perform other duties as requested by the VP of Sales
