Role Summary
Commure is looking for a Director of Product Marketing to expand and enrich connections between Commure and the marketplace, to create a foundation for new and differentiated products that serve leading health institutions and innovators across the ecosystem. Reporting into the Vice President, Head of Marketing, you will be a crucial member of the Product Marketing Team at Commure. You will work with our Product, Engineering and Sales teams to build and market CommureOS that will drive the success of our customers and the growth of our business. You will also work with your Marketing counterparts to help drive awareness and adoption of our solutions by deeply understanding what the marketplace cares about and help articulate that value through multiple channels. You will help lead the development of powerful product positioning, establish targeted buyer personas and GTM strategies, measure and articulate the unique value of our products to prospective customers, foster highly meaningful marketing engagements with target accounts through cross-functional channels, and amplify the success stories of Commure's hospital, health system, and digital health partners through strategic storytelling. With a builder, seller and collaboration mindset - you'll be viewed as a key liaison and leader with the functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the direction of Product Marketing for our newest product, CommureOS
- Oversee product positioning and packaging, as well as establishing net-new value messaging frameworks for product solutions, building the sales bill of materials, owning customer segmentation and buyer persona work, and employing narrative-first techniques to tell unforgettable customer and product stories
- Creative-direct all product-centric communications, collateral, and campaigns to drive product demand and sales funnel activity
- Leverage data analytics, analyst relations, and competitive intelligence tools to understand our prospective customer and competitor landscape inside and out, turning insights into meaningful marketing engagements to reach target buyers
- Inform creative corporate initiatives as a key internal stakeholder, including awareness campaigns, events, thought leadership, brand messaging, and more
- Work closely with the Product teams and EPD leadership to understand, influence, and articulate the product roadmap, including metrics that drive ROI for customers
- Take your learnings and synthesize them for our Product and Engineering teams so that we can make CommureOS a leader in our space
- Work cross-functionally to drive operational readiness for new product introduction, including Beta or Early Adopter programs
- Create effective messaging, tools and materials that enable go-to-market teams for success
- Package our message into marketing collateral, from pitch decks to brand campaigns to website narratives; provide guidance and support across the marketing team to turn our messaging into tangible deliverables and assets
- Lead training and enablement efforts with Sales and Customer teams on delivering the narrative and bringing storytelling and presentation skills to the next level
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a general marketing and/or product marketing position, preferably within the B2B healthcare/SaaS space
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Prior success in building, leading and mentoring a team
- You're a Builder who has taken products from MVP to mass scale adoption
- You're a Seller who gravitates towards speaking directly to customers to understand their needs
- You're a Natural collaborator with experience building fruitful, long-term relationships across an organization
- You're a Strategic thinker who connects industry-wide insights and understands the competitive landscape to inform narratives and product positioning
The salary range that Commure reasonably expects to pay for this position is $155,000 - $200,000. Actual salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications.
