A fantastic opportunity is available for a Warehouse Manager for a leading manufacturer of engineered solutions in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. You will be responsible for all of the warehousing and distribution operations. This role would suit someone who is hands on and happy to work as part of a small team.
What will the right person look like?
The ideal Warehouse Manager will have previous experience in a similar role, knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably hold a valid Forklift licence. Experience of using either Sage/SAP/BaaN.
What will you be doing?
- Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely despatch of goods.
- Plan the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organise special requirements for certain stock, such as fragile products.
- Maintain warehouse computerised administration.
- Supervise warehouse workers, oversee and also assist with picking, packing and distribution activity.
- Assist with all aspects of stock takes.
Hours/Salary/Benefits
The Warehouse Manager will work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.45pm/5pm.
Salary between £37,500 and £42,000 dependent on experience.
Benefits include 25 days annual leave (3 for Christmas shutdown), private healthcare after 6 months service, critical health cover - 1 years salary, death in service - 4x salary, and free onsite parking.
