Our Role
As the Growth Director you will own purposeful growth and assigned business development across Havas Lynx Group. You will drive high quality and consistent growth offering across the group. You will champion the vision and approach of the Growth team to the agencies to support a culture of winning pitches and proposals. Collaborating with different teams across the agency in order to enhance opportunities for new business. As Growth Director you will lead growth coordination with the Havas Health & You (HH&Y) growth functions and the broader network.
This role would be a great fit for someone in a similar role, or a senior client services operator looking for a new challenge. Previous agency experience is a must.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Drive the vision and approach of the Growth Team to the agency level to support a culture of winning pitches and proposals
- Own RFI and proposal development for assigned opportunities
- Support Go/No-Go process when determining agency response to pitches, including conducting early bench research to qualify opportunities
- Push thinking on agency differentiation and experience impact throughout BD process:
- Confirm right resources are in place/ are engaged appropriately
- Help pitch lead to identify approach and guide story and presentation development
- Provide feedback and guidance to strengthen presentation: push to elevate the quality of each and every engagement
- Attend rehearsals for pitches to coach on red-thread story, presentation style, and facilitate Q&A brainstorming
- Fulfil the same role on multi-agency pitches as needed
- Act as the lead point of coordination with the broader HH&Y Growth Team’s involving network opportunities, communication and reporting and broader growth initiatives
- Partner with Chief Client Officer and Partnership Director for pitch training and to drive organic growth initiatives
- Own pitch and post-mortem process for assigned opportunities
- Partner with Chief Client Officer and Partnership Director for Growth Planning workstreams with agency leadership, maintaining an ongoing dialogue and drive follow up on individual basis
- Own data-collection on pitch performance for assigned agencies and partner with Agency Leadership to develop and implement recommendations to improve performance
- Support agency-level marketing efforts as needed in conjunction with the marketing team (i.e., social media, thought leadership publications etc.)
- Own and develop key growth resources accessible to the group
- Support and help drive core capes presentation development/refinement
- Own ad-hoc Growth Team initiatives as required
What we’d like to see from you:
- Previous experience in advertising/marketing/communications with a history of successful pitching
- Experience with professional and consumer/patient communications and a thorough understanding of the healthcare market is preferred (but not essential)
- Line management or mentoring capabilities
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines / escalate issues as appropriate
