Job description

The Director, IT Operations for SIMNET will be responsible for leading and managing the organizations IT operations, including the deployment, maintenance, and support of all IT systems and infrastructure. This individual will work closely with other members of the IT leadership team to develop and implement strategies and plans that support the companys overall business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement strategies and plans for the organizations IT operations, including the deployment, maintenance, and support of all IT systems and infrastructure
  • Oversee the management and performance of the organizations IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage
  • Lead and manage the IT operations team, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT leadership team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
  • Ensure the security and compliance of the organizations IT systems and infrastructure
  • Manage the organizations IT budget and vendor relationships
  • Work closely with business leaders to understand and support their IT needs
  • Continuous process optimization



Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
  • ITIL
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT operations, including management experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead effectively and motivate a team
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage
  • Experience with security and compliance standards and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Experience with budget management and vendor relationships is a plus
