Hotel Services Assistant | Mount Stuart Hospital | Full Time 37.5 Hours
The role
- To provide a high standard of catering service throughout the hospital, as part of the support services team
- To obtain food and beverage orders from patients, staff and visitors to the hospital
- To assist in the preparation and service of food to patients, staff and visitors to the hospital
- To clean on a daily basis all areas of the catering department to the agreed standard
- To have a good understanding of current health and hygiene regulations, and ensure that these are adhered to in the preparation and service of all foodstuffs
- To ensure that all restaurant/room service is provided in accordance with the Ramsay Hotel Services minimum standards documentation
What you'll bring with you\
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (if not already held company funded training must be undertaken)
- Previous catering experience (desirable)
- Customer service NVQ or equivalent (desirable)

About Us
This role is based at Mount Stuart Hospital with the extension to include Exeter Medical. Mount Stuart is a leading private hospital in Torquay. It has three fully equipped, laminar flow theatres, with a six-bedded recovery, a Minor Surgery Unit which is JAG accredited for endoscopy, twelve outpatient consulting rooms with associated examination and treatment facilities. Other facilities include physiotherapy, radiology, ultrasound and mobile MRI and CT.
