Director of Student Mental Health and Wellbeing

As the Director of Student Mental Health and Wellbeing you will lead University services to enable students to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially throughout their educational journey.
Through your strategic leadership of a multidisciplinary team, you will develop a sector-leading and comprehensive plan for student mental health and wellbeing initiatives which align to our mission and vision, support us in our Mental Health Charter work and ensure that we meet student, sector and regulatory requirements.
You will bring:
- Leadership experience within a healthcare, higher education, or counselling setting, with a focus on mental health and / or broader wellbeing
- Demonstrable success at implementation of strategy and policy
- Expertise in student mental health and / or broader wellbeing issues
- Awareness of regulatory requirements
- A successful track record of leading and managing change in a complex environment and embracing new ways of working.
You will primarily be based at our Horsforth Campus but will also spend time at our City campus when this opens in 2024-25 and, through our agile working framework, will also spend time working remotely, which will be discussed further at interview.
