What you'll do
- Reporting to the Northern Europe Heads of Sales and also working collaboratively with the DOS Vertical and Agency, Marketing & Partnerships (AMP) peers, you will help define the sales strategy and drive execution for some of the world’s top brands and agencies
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship for the dynamic, diverse, and hardworking sales team
- Ensure the team are managing their sales pipeline and forecasts with forensic accuracy
- Proactively identify and seek out senior client and industry relationships to optimize revenue
- Drive partnership performance, engage with key partners, and deliver excellent customer service
- Represent Spotify in the advertising community by seeking out and participating at industry events
- Be brilliant at the basics, driving the cadence of accountability. Manage pipeline, revenue forecasts, sales activity using Salesforce.com for maximum efficiency and visibility
- Maintain high levels of communication and transparency with management, cross-functional teams, and business partners
- Work from the London office
Who you are
- You have 12+ years of digital advertising/marketing sales experience and management experience
- You are an experienced sales leader, consultative seller and have a proven track record of success
- You have a deep understanding of the marketing landscape, including the digital ecosystem alongside an expertise in account planning, strategic planning, and media buying within digital media environments
- You have the ability to take a quantitative and analytical approach with distinctive operational and business judgment with excellent attention to detail
- You have problem-solving, cross-functional leadership, technical, collaborative, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- You have strong, leadership level agency and client relationships
- You are a thought leader, as demonstrated by industry expertise in media & marketing and have an ability to influence in complex situations.
- You are highly motivated, entrepreneurial, energetic, and willing to thrive in a high growth organization
- You are able to hit and exceed quarterly revenue expectations and take mitigating actions to make an impact on in quarter revenues
