Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic), we are seeking to appoint a Director of Learning and Teaching to lead on the delivery of an excellent academic student experience. In this strategically significant role, you will provide vision and leadership in the development of curriculum design, learning, teaching and pedagogy, helping to grow our regional, national and global reputation for academic practice. Managing our high performing Academic Quality and Development team, you will support the development and delivery of our Academic Strategy, promoting innovation and enterprise, digital pedagogy and work integrated learning opportunities for all students. To apply you will have proven experience in teaching quality, assessment, course design, review and enhancement, and a track record in leading and implementing innovation in learning and teaching and designing appropriate interventions to meet the diverse needs of the academic environment. With successful change management experience, you will demonstrate strong leadership qualities and skills appropriate to a senior management position including the management, development and motivation of both teams and individuals to inspire and secure high performance. With a data driven, collaborative and positive approach you will also have a track record, or emerging profile of, research and publications in learning and teaching.
