About this opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning Administrator to join our London Wealth Management department. Within this role you will be assisting with the day-to-day administration for the team and provide support to senior colleagues dealing with various tasks to ensure a smooth running of the team. This role would be suitable for school leavers, individuals who have recently left college/graduated and looking to take their first step into Financial Services or individuals who have previous administration experience.

Responsibilities Include:

General administration to include:

  • Communicating with Financial Advisers and clients
  • Preparation and processing of all new client documentation and amendments
  • Monitoring of transfers of assets/cash from other institutions
  • ISA subscriptions and transfers
  • Processing of client payments
  • Liaising with colleagues within Business Support regarding administration of client accounts.
  • Ensuring client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems.
  • General record keeping and electronic filing.
  • Adhering to Conduct Risk standards

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Willing to work to obtain qualifications relevant to the role.
  • Previous administration experience is desired – additional training will be provided.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook preferred.
  • Good attention to detail, maintaining accuracy when completing written and numerical based tasks.
  • Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written, with ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Takes accountability for own work, with ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.
  • Able to prioritise workload and identify when they need support to achieve goals.
  • Flexible and reliable team member and willing to support more junior and senior members of the team as required.
  • Ability to work on own initiative to achieve required results.
  • Collaborative and inclusive approach to work
