Responsibilities:The Opportunity:
We are seeking collaborative, entrepreneurial, flexible team members who will help broaden our existing footprint and expand into new areas of Government service.
The Director of Alliances and Partnerships will develop and manage our strategic alliances and partnerships with large and small businesses who also serve the Federal Government. You will report to our Vice President of Proposals and Growth Operations and be a key part of the leadership team that shapes and delivers our overall strategy.
With an eye toward strategic alliances, your focus will be to establish strong relationships with leading solution and OEM software providers to enhance and build on Empower AI capabilities. This will unlock significant growth opportunities for the organizations and lead to exciting new offerings for the Government customers.
Responsibilities:
- Accelerate growth by establishing and developing productive, mutually-beneficial alliances and partnerships
- Develop Empower AI’s alliance and partnership model by expanding networks and relationships with leading solution providers and OEM software organizations.
- Build alliance and partnership identification and onboarding process.
- Establish a portfolio of industry leading partners that complement Empower AI solutions.
- Work with the BD and Capture teams to develop prospective insights for new partnerships.
- Manage the strategic partner relationship, operational framework, and communications at the executive level.
- Develop and execute the strategic business plan in coordination with the BD and Capture teams.
- Engage with partners to develop, package, and position differentiated solutions for key opportunities.
- Design, build, and execute joint growth strategies that align with Empower AI strategy.
- Evangelize the partnerships internally, including joint value propositions with the business unit leaders.
- Manage metrics including new relationships, joint marketing campaigns, and joint solutions.
- Be within a reasonable commuting distance from Reston, VA.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Ability to craft go to market strategies and integrate pipelines with partners to approach opportunities with comprehensive solutions that meet client needs.
- Negotiate with potential partners to ensure beneficial positioning.
- Experience with or understanding of Federal Government related market intelligence tools (e.g., BGov, GovWin, SAM).
- Network of AI/Technology solution small and large business points of contact.
- Experience working with unique buying cycles for Federal contracting.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and coalition building skills in a highly dynamic and fluid working environment.
- Demonstrated ability to get things done, build consensus, resolve conflict, and solve tough business problems, working in concert with others.
- Highest levels of written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Keen sense of ownership, drive, and execution.
- Ability to influence without direct control.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of professional experience in Federal Government space
- Previous success in building alliances and partnerships in either a product/solution organization or a large professional services firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
