We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Lead Practitioner – Practice Educator to support our Children and Families Workforce Academy to ensure that the future generation of social workers, family support workers, youth workers and other children and families professionals are supported to grow, develop, and thrive. In addition to empowering new practitioners to reach their potential the team also work across all levels of the service coaching and enabling everyone to be the best they can be.

About the Role
Social Work Lead Practitioner
We are looking for someone who is committed, enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people in Warwickshire. Candidate’s must be social work qualified, have social work experience. We need someone who has sound decision making and will work positively as part of a team and with our partners promoting good quality practice.
The successful candidate will be working with Team Managers and Operational Leads to identify learning needs and prioritise staff for learning and continued professional development opportunities. We value and believe we are stronger and richer in our practice through multi-disciplinary. The academy will meet the needs of social workers, managers, youth workers, family support workers, youth justice practitioners and other disciplines within the service.
Through delegated responsibilities from the Principal Social Worker the successful candidate will contribute to the assessment of NQSW (Newly Qualified Social Workers) and EPD (Early Professional Development) social workers. You will co-lead and co-facilitate support sessions to social workers or other practitioners in learning and practice development.
You will work collaboratively with others, developing and maintaining partnerships and multi-agency working, and you will be committed and motivated to help children and families change their lives for the better.
