Position Summary:

As the Director, Promotional Marketing you will be responsible for the development and implementation of promotional marketing strategies to support NeoGenomics’ multi-division enterprise.

You will have the opportunity to work with and lead cross functional teams to plan and execute marketing initiatives; build the multi-stakeholder, multi-channel marketing plans with appropriate strategies, tactics and resources to achieve business goals, including market shaping/development, campaign development and supporting product launches.

You will employ your deep understanding of brand development and multi-channel communications to build strategies and tactics to shape and further develop the market across to the Company’s services including and related to oncology testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Brand promotion and marketing communications support will encompass traditional activities associated with brand awareness, market shaping/development, clinical and pharma marketing education, product launches/promotion, and will include but not be limited to:
  • Provide in-house agency and creative services to support of the business’ commercial initiatives in both Clinical and Advanced Diagnostics divisions
  • Serves as a brand ambassador for the company in promoting the company’s core mission
  • Leading/supporting market research initiatives, including voice of customer
  • Coordination with digital marketing in development and alignment of promotional and other digital assets
  • Gather feedback from customers and field sales to identify new market trends, opportunities and competitive challenges
  • Working with Sales Leadership and Senior Management to craft and implement focused sales campaigns throughout the year including, campaign development/management, and support of customer facing personnel through the heart of the campaign
  • Coordinates with Billing and Market Access to ensure strategic alignment
  • Creative execution: coordinate with internal creative team and outside creative agency resources to deliver all content marketing strategies and tactics
  • KPIs: Build KPI dashboard to measure ROI on marketing tactics
  • Support the company’s strategy regarding tradeshow presence, including providing materials, vision, and at times attendance

Experience & Required Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS Degree Required, Advanced degree preferred.
  • At least eight (8) years’ experience in a professional marketing/strategy capacity working in the healthcare industry with a mix of the following experiences: marketing, communications, brand management, use of customer relationship management tools like salesforce.com, digital marketing, strategy planning and ideally some experience marketing to both patients and providers.
  • Demonstrated ability of leading in a multi-matrixed environment where you led teams of individuals thru indirect influence to achieve business objectives
  • Healthcare marketing required; Oncology experience (diagnostics and/or pharmaceutical industry) preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
