General Description
A key role within the kitchen team, you will deliver efficient and effective service within a busy hotel breakfast service. You will ensure breakfast is delivered in line with brand standards and that the preparation and presentation of the food is of a high standard.
Based in the Hotel Indigo Newcastle, you will be part of a family of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.
Key Education & Experience Requirements
· Experience working in a busy kitchen, ideally within a branded environment.
· Food Safety Certificate Level 2
· Ensure all food is prepared and served in line with Hotel Indigo brand standards.
· Ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen operation both during and after service.
· Abide by all company and legal food safety standards.
· Ensure accurate monitoring and recording of wastage.
· Experience of stock control
· Ensure that you and your team are correctly uniformed, adhering to high personal hygiene and safety standards.
· Ensure all appropriate kitchen monitoring is carried out and recorded as set out by the company.
· Adhere to company policy with reference to hazard spotting, first aid reporting and reporting accidents.
· Have a complete understanding of hotel and company procedure in the event of a fire.
