Roles and Responsibilities

KPMG Law is seeking a senior corporate lawyer (10+ years PQE) to join its expanding team in London as a director to focus on helping to grow the successful deals and structuring practice.

KPMG Law is a disrupter in the legal services industry offering legal advisory services to clients combined with new law and technology driven offerings and multi-disciplinary solutions. Our lawyers have the benefit of being part of an exciting start-up business within a leading global professional services firm.

This role is client facing working alongside the existing partner and director in the London team (as well as the wider National practice) with a focus on providing multi-disciplinary deals and group structuring solutions to clients in the London region and internationally.

The successful candidate will have broad experience across cross border and domestic M&A, equity investments, joint ventures, equity incentive arrangements and corporate restructurings gained at an international practice in London and:

  • be an entrepreneurial self-starter who is excited by the opportunity to build on the existing exciting growth of this business by providing multi-disciplinary legal services in a different environment and manner while delivering a great service to clients
  • have a proven track record of building and growing client relationships
  • be able to demonstrate the ability to provide commercial legal advice as a rounded business adviser and a willingness to work as part of one team with non-legal professionals to provide client solutions
  • will be a driven and proactive team player who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines
  • will be able to demonstrate team management and development skills and a willingness to train and mentor team members
  • be able to demonstrate sector expertise in one or more sectors
