Job description
Lolly Care Ltd is a private organisation, recruiting carers for an individual to support living in their own home.
We are looking for a bubbly and fun loving person to join a team of carers.
Due to the nature of the post, we are only able to accept female applications. Must be over 18.
The role will be providing care for a teenage girl with severe disabilities. It will involve:
- companionship
- personal care duties
- assisting with strengthening and stretching exercises
- administering medication
- feeding
- assisting with fun activities such as baking, art, music
Hours:
- Regular hours to be discussed with applicant
- Additional hours during school holidays
- Cover for other carers leave and sickness
Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential. Must like dogs.
The post is based near Dirleton, East Lothian – just over 20 miles to the East of Edinburgh. Public transport links are limited; the nearest bus stop is about a 25 minute walk and Drem and North Berwick train stations are just over 4 miles away. Own transport is desirable.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
