Job description
Candor Vets are working with a reputable Veterinary Centre in Colchester to seek a skilled Clinical Director. This is a permanent, full-time and/or part-time role, offering a competitive salary of up to £75,000, subject to experience. The position comes with an additional £5,000 Relocation Allowance for eligible candidates. The advert was posted on 10/07/2023.
The Practice:
- A well-established small animal practice located in Colchester.
- Fully equipped with advanced facilities, including direct digital x-ray, a high-quality ultrasound machine, an endoscope, and in-house lab equipment.
- RCVS accredited and supported by a dedicated team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Care Assistants, and Receptionists.
- Regular visits from specialised professionals, such as sonographers, cardiologists, and orthopaedic surgeons.
Main Duties:
- Collaborate with the practice manager to provide leadership, ensuring smooth business operations.
- Supervise and support the veterinary team to maintain excellent client and patient care.
- Demonstrate proficiency in surgeries, emergencies, and sole charge responsibilities.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills, though prior experience is not mandatory.
- Embrace teamwork and possess excellent communication abilities.
