Cygnet is looking for Night Support Worker to join our team working at Nightingale (Bournemouth). You will be working Full Time, 42 hours per week during nights only.
If you have previously worked or are currently working as a care assistant, healthcare assistant, or support worker looking for a new opportunity or your first role within Social Care to help support residents with Autism and Learning Difficulties within a care home setting as part of the NHS partnership.
Nightingale’s is a 10-bed specialist residential care home supporting adults over the age of 18 with Autism and Learning Difficulties located in Bournemouth (BH6 3PX) in Boscombe.

What you will need:
- Positive Attitude and Caring Approach
- Strong Communication Skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- No previous care experience is required
About the Role:
- Working from 07:45 pm till 08:00 am on a 42 Hour Full Time Contract
- Working two weekends a month
- Helping to promote resident independence
- Supporting residents in all aspects of day-to-day life, encouraging and promoting independence
- Monitoring of residents and reporting concerns to senior team members or managers
- Going out with residents into the local community to attend events, parks, restaurants and local activities
- Completing resident’s records to help monitor health and overall well-being
