Brand at Ironclad:
We are looking for an experienced Brand Creative Director to lead our team of Designers and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization. Our central goal is to create exceptional experiences that evoke emotions and build strong brands. We work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations teams to ensure a cohesive and intentional customer journey, as well as impactful internal experiences.
As the Brand Creative Director, you will develop a strategic narrative that permeates every customer touchpoint, including high-profile thought leadership pieces, product releases, ad campaigns, in-person and virtual events, as well as internal pieces such as swag items and materials for internal events. Through collaboration and partnership, you will shape the vision of the Ironclad brand, showcasing the innovation of our product in every customer-facing interaction and fostering a strong company culture internally.
Our ideal candidate excels at bringing cross-functional teams together, leads with empathy and compassion, and pays close attention to intricate details. You inspire us to push the boundaries of our brand's expression and view creativity as a problem-solving endeavor. Challenges and unknowns don't deter you; instead, you encourage out-of-the-box thinking to overcome obstacles and develop innovative solutions that resonate both externally and internally.
- Build the creative vision and gain buy-in across the organization for experiential marketing initiatives that increase global brand awareness. Utilize data and analytics to inform decisions and evaluate effectiveness.
- Partner closely with marketing, sales, and customer success leaders to achieve ambitious goals.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure alignment between the brand vision and product development, creating a cohesive and compelling customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Develop and own plans to allocate appropriate design resources for our website, print collateral, video and physical brand presence at all of our events (internal and external).
- Evolve and own the process by which the team triages requests from the entire organization.
- Coach, mentor, and inspire the growing team of brand designers.
- Prioritize impactful initiatives for the business and ensure the team's finite resources are optimally allocated.
- Rally the team around strict roadmaps, ensuring on-time delivery and meeting the standards of the vision.
- Navigate through ambiguity and creative obstacles to convert essence into artifact.
- Build scalable systems, playbooks, and processes for consistent high-quality experiences across multiple channels and campaigns.
- Identify and leverage cultural trends in design, music, fashion, tech, and legal.
- Present and discuss creative decisions and their material impacts on the business, brand, and team.
- Make hard business and financial decisions, with proper justification to senior leadership when necessary.
- Foster a culture of play that enables the team to conceptualize new forms of brand expression.

- Experience art directing for online and offline events, campaigns, photography, and video
- Experience designing for web, social, email, print, and environments
- Excellent portfolio with case studies showcasing design foundations and leadership on teams and projects
- Strong business acumen and ability to balance the needs of the brand, the business, and its constraints.
