Direct Relationship Support Team Leader
Knutsford
As a Barclays Direct Relationship Support Team Leader, you will manage an engaged team of 10-15 reports within our advocacy department, supporting and working proactively within your team to deliver accurate outcomes. You’ll investigate complex and emotive client concerns related to our extensive ranges of products whilst following the regulatory requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority to protect Barclay’s reputation. You’ll also handle daily management of the team and their performance to oversee team targets.

- Leading a team of 10-15 direct reports, providing clear business direction and creating a high-performing culture
- Ensuring the performance and achievement of all team members and will set and oversee team targets
- Handling the day to day workflow management, removing blockers for clients and using available data to assist colleagues with effective pipeline management
- Being accountable for delivery of fair client outcomes, ensuring we deliver a world class client experience
- Being responsible for solving complaints following the regulatory requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority
- Protecting Barclays and associated companies reputation using the guidelines and requirements of the Financial Ombudsman Service
- A team player, who will support a culture of individuality, fun and the sharing and embedding of best practice
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, good attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and deliver within tight timescales
- Ability to work individually, and be able to build effective relationships, working collaboratively with others with good communication skills both verbal and written
- Direct experience of team management, and a proven track record of improving team performance, through coaching and delivering feedback
- Flexible and professional under pressure, with the ability to prioritise challenging workloads, and work to stretching deadlines
- Excellent people skills and can work on own initiative, and able to communicate with colleagues at all levels
- Contributes positively to the organisational culture, by always demonstrating role model behaviours
Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse
