Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Institutional Investment Operations Specialist
This position is within the EMEA CIB P&SD Int'l Digital Transformation (IDT) Team that plays a critical role in driving process automation via Xceptor which sits within the change and product support agenda for EMEA CIB Operations. The role will be expected to manage a team of Change specialists in formulating the long term strategic objectives and partnering with the Project Management Office (PMO) and Technology to ensure business requirements are written clearly and roadblocks to delivery are removed. Resulting in the continued growth of the EMEA platform while strengthening the risk and control environment we operate within

In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives in operational and customer service for lifecycle support for institutional trade flow functions including client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding or custodial operations, securities settlement services, structure loan operations, reconciliation as well as support resolution of issues in and out of their responsibility
- Act as key participant in large scale planning, gathering data to support resolution of issues in areas in and out of responsibility
- Review and research complex multi-faceted operational and customer support on loan, securities and derivative product issues for institutional trade flow and provide oversight and add efficiencies to processes that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Demonstrate full knowledge and serve as leadership on projects along with internal and industry related industries
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted loan, securities and derivative products requiring understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects and teams, or serve as a peer mentor
- Manage & deliver the international digital transformation book of work driving forward continuous improvements across International CIB Operations by improving operational efficiency and strengthening controls by creating awareness and implementation of automation platforms and tools.
- Build out program framework to ensure compliance with testing methodologies, data analysis and implementation ensuring full audit trail is maintained and all change requests/ requirements are captured in a standardized manner.
- Drive and grow change capabilities increasing awareness for Intelligent Automation. Leading growth by example by creating a culture to demonstrate potential ROI benefits, increasing control framework and/or efficiency.
- Design and document process requirements to drive Xceptor new processes or process enhancements.
- Perform impact assessments to understand the impact on Operations, across all front-office assets
- Drive delivery of all project deliverables including business case, requirements, project planning, testing, implementation, and closing.
- Identify, analyse and manage risks, issues and interdependencies, escalating as necessary and ensure project tasks are completed according to established timelines
- Ensure that project delivery is carried out according to the defined scope.
- Appropriate tracking and monitoring are imposed throughout the implementation and post successful completion.
- Collaborate Operations teams to deliver optimal solutions
- Experience in Institutional Investment Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
