Job purpose:
Digital & Tech Manager acts as trusted advisor and single point of contact for Digital & Tech related strategic topics in their area of responsibility by orchestrating the stakeholders and ensuring the adequate provision of technology enabled Business capabilities. Also aligns and executes operational and project level tech activities by partnering and working with Global/Regional/ Market Tech and Business.

- Acts as a technology business partner, working closely with the business units to identify new opportunities to apply trend technologies with the goals of simplification, optimization, and engagement with clients, third parties, and patients in order to promote more digital working practices and potential new business models to produce effective results at scale.
- Manages the local application portfolio developed and maintained by an internal DevOps team through Agile practice.
- Ensures customer satisfaction is regularly measured, analyzed, necessary corrective actions and improvement actions are taken for services provided by local/ regional or Global tech teams or 3rd parties
- Leads/facilitates serious escalation processes in countries in scope and leads/coordinates the Commercial Tech response to crisis situations, like unavailability of a critical system, data loss etc.
- Management and delivery of digital and technology projects in alignment with local Business strategy and Global Digital & Tech strategy
- Provide technical support and expertise to make sure market is operating fully aligned with company cyber and information security requirements
- Will be the dotted line manager of a DevOps Team (4-5 members) that is comprising of collocated and offshore team members some of whom are full time employees or complimentary workers working through a strategic partner.
- Requires good soft skills for Business engagement and process understanding as well as technical depth to be able to manage and prioritize the work that DevOps team doing and also digital and customer experience management knowledge.
- Manages relationships in Global Tech, Commercial Tech and Business in the market supported with the inherent complexity of cultures, economies and timezones.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Good relevant experience in Tech, ideally having worked for a Commercial Business partnering/Tech role with Digital and Technology experience, preferably at Pharma sector
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
- Good knowledge of business & cross company processes and strategies and good understanding of how the business processes are supported by key Tech systems (Digital systems, Commercial Operations applications, CRM etc.). Hands on experience in a program or project role will be a bonus.
- Good understanding of Agile practice
- Multi-national company working experience and proven track record in leading and influencing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
- Ability to manage complexity and derive simplicity from it whenever possible
- Strong matrix working skills, including networking and teamwork abilities
- Strong Account Management skills & customer focus
- Strong multi-tasking skills and prioritisation skills with a flexible attitude as priorities change.
- Ability to proactively coach and develop staff across the varying countries and cultures.
- Ability to strategic thinking, planning and fast learning. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong spoken and written skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Knowledge and experience in ITIL, DevOps, Agile project management, Azure Cloud Capabilities
- High level understanding of software development and database technologies
- Knowledge in Emerging Technologies (AI/ ML, Digital Twins, BlockChain, Iot etc), Cx, CRM, RPA, e-commerce, API
