Are you passionate about journalism with a keen eye for content that keeps readers engaged? Then it’s time to join the Customer Team at Reach Plc as our Digital Production Journalist!
You will create engaging polls, quizzes and surveys to drive registrations across Reach sites. From fun quizzes like “Which Happy Valley character are you” from thought provoking surveys about how the cost of living crisis is affecting people.
We’re looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives from people from a wide range of backgrounds, and we want you to tell us the stories you believe are important from our many communities so we can continue to diversify our content.

This role is a fixed term contract, initially for 12 months.
We are happy to consider applications on a flexible working basis, and will always aim to accommodate requests where possible.
This role is home based and we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK.
What will the role involve?
You will create a wide variety of polls, quizzes, surveys and other user experiences to help drive registrations for all Reach titles. Working with journalists and editors across our regional sites to create content that will engage their audiences.
You will optimise new and existing content to ensure there are recirculation and registration opportunities embedded throughout to drive subscriptions and engagement. You will utilise analytics to see what content drives the most participation from readers.
Who are we looking for?
You will be passionate about journalism, content creation and have an excellent attention to detail. You can spot and correct errors at pace, ensuring all your content is accurate and engaging.
You are creative and always have ideas to pitch. You will have the opportunity to suggest and execute your content ideas, so you always stay up to date with the latest news and pop culture.
You will have an excellent understanding of media law and understand the important role data plays in deepening our customer engagement.
