We are looking to recruit a Transport Planner from the Herefordshire area for our Transport Planning Business. This is an exciting opportunity to join an accomplished team and work on a range of transport planning projects focused on multi-modal and active mode assessments and urban micro-simulation, as well as business case development, with a particular focus on modelling and shaping transport policy and strategy within Herefordshire.
The Transport Planner will report to a Principal / Associate Director within a team in a collaborative and open office environment. This role is key to providing high-quality, affordable, and innovative solutions.

Our clients include national and local transport authorities such as the UK Department for Transport and Transport for London, private developers of land and transport facilities, and overseas institutions such as the Dubai Roads and Traffic Authority. We develop and use some of the most sophisticated transport modelling techniques, applying a range of specialist software, and offer a comprehensive internal training programme to further assist professional and technical development.
Minimum Requirements
To carry out the responsibilities as a Transport Planner.
- You will require a numerical degree at bachelor's or master’s level or an equivalent qualification.
- You will have experience with multimodal and active mode scheme assessments.
- Data analysis skills, alongside good knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Excel, are also key skill sets necessary for the role.
Degree/Masters qualification in an analytical subject (e.g. transport planning, geography, mathematics, engineering, economics, spatial planning) from an accredited college or university.
