The salary range for this role is set at £53,000-£80,500

About the role:
As a Digital Product Manager you are the intersection between business, technology and user experience.
You will be responsible for managing the product development process from product discovery and truly understanding the problems that are to be solved, to defining the area on which to focus and developing products that are desirable, feasible and viable from both a customer and business perspective.
Your success, and that of your product stream, relies on every team member understanding the vision and being passionate about the direction of travel. You will be responsible for shaping the product strategy for a product team, ensuring all teams can translate the strategy into prioritised and actionable units of work for the Development teams and deliver a best-in-class customer and user experience across multiple digital channels.
Solving customer problems is key to the success of this role and gaining a deep understanding of our customers through insight will enable you to develop the strategy and deliver our customer and business objectives.
You will be expected to lead by example, with a hands-on approach, coaching and developing a team of expert Digital Partners.
Primary Outcomes within this role:
Set the long-term strategy for your Product stream.
Translate strategic decisions and direction into a clear plan and set of objectives and key results (OKRs) for your stream to ensure customer and commercial targets can be achieved.
Establish a shared vision that is founded in market research, insight obtained through a deep empathy with customers and end users and a thorough understanding of the problems business stakeholders are trying to solve.
Develop and hold the overall plan for the Product stream that encompasses all elements of technical and non technical build.
Keep in touch with market and technology developments and trends in the specific product area and become a subject matter expert and go to person
We're looking for someone with:
Demonstrated ability in Product Management.
Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (such as SCRUM or Kanban).
Comprehensive understanding of the market landscape, both through a technology and a competitor lens.
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
An excellent communicator and storyteller, presenting concepts and ideas in different formats, depending on context.
Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities while adhering to time-sensitive deadlines.
