Job description
We have a new vacancy for a Digital Print Operator.
Starting salary £28.325, rising to £30,325 on completion of training.
Job Summary:
Operate state of the art high-speed printing equipment, producing statements, bills, letters, etc for many well known brands.
Some print experience would be an advantage, but not required. Training will be given over 6+month period. We are looking for applicants with a very strong work ethic, who are focussed, smart, and with the ability to make decisions.
Working shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (rotation of days and nights)
Hours: Day shift 7am – 7pm /Night shift 7pm – 7am
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Set and operate printing equipment to produce output volume and targets set.
· Support the daily production volume in line with Client service level agreements.
· Report all issues whether print quality and machine issues to Management.
· Adhere to company processes and checks in place – quality & print.
· Assist engineers with weekly machine service.
SKILLS:
· Experience in a print background - advantage but not necessary.
· Web-fed machine experience advantage but not necessary.
