Junior Product Analyst
Data has been at the heart of Gousto from the start!
Our Analysts are embedded into business functions and work closely with stakeholders to provide insight on customers, operations and processes to support decision-making, report on historic performance as well as shape future roadmaps.
Working with a variety of tools and programming languages, Analysts work as part of cross-functional tribes to ensure data-directed decision making continues to pave the way for success at Gousto!
With your role you will be embedded in the Choice Tribe and you will help shape our weekly menus and our recipe library by making sure we win on Choice!
You will use data and analytical methods to help answer questions like the following:
- What should our ideal menu look like?
- What is the performance of our new menu propositions?
- Which ingredients or recipe types should our recipe library include?
Core Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a high-performing team of analysts and cross functionally with your Domain
- Collect, clean, and organise data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Work with stakeholders to translate their business requirements/questions into an analytical request with support from your manager
- Answer key questions about our customer behaviour by performing ad hoc analysis or reporting
- Gives high-quality presentations to technical and non technical audiences with support from your manager
- Gain a good understanding of your tribe's domain and objectives, and how they contribute to overall business strategy
- Spot opportunities to work collaboratively with other areas of the data team
Who you are/Experience Required:
- Basic proficiency in SQL and data manipulation
- Curiosity and a passion for data and analytics
- You seek to improve processes and questions assumptions
- You are motivated to learn and progress in the role
- Attention to detail
Nice to haves:
- Working in a cross-functional and Agile environment
- Previous experience with coding languages (Python, etc)
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, economics or similar
- Ability to communicate results to non-technical stakeholders
