Marketing at the University of St Andrews is going through a period of growth and development to help support the delivery of the University’s strategic objectives. To support the development of our growing marketing function, the University has developed a new exciting opportunity and is seeking to appoint a Digital Marketing Manager. The new role of Digital Marketing Manager will provide an exciting opportunity to implement the way the University markets a brand-new portfolio of digital Masters programmes and short courses to prospective students locally, nationally and globally.
Working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do approach, they will demonstrate the value of expert story-telling, playing an important role in the team to deliver high-quality content for coordinated campaigns in support of the University of St Andrews Strategy2022 – 2027 and the development of our new online postgraduate provision. Working with colleagues in Admissions and Corporate Communications, the post-holder will also develop the digital delivery of campaigns for recruitment to in-person programmes.
Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager part of a wider admission marketing team, communications team, and digital communications and analytics experts to support the University’s digital theme. You will be an excellent communicator skilled at maintaining effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and working collaboratively across all functions and levels of the University postgraduate online degrees and short course schools.
You will be responsible for the St Andrews Postgraduate Online course pages on the website. You will manage and expand our digital, data-driven marketing capability and continue to embed a new digital marketing operating model that focuses on data and insight-based decision making, ‘best in class’ customer experience and ‘digital first approach’ customer centric behaviours, and champion this operational shift across the broader marketing function in admissions, communications and digital communications teams.
