As a Digital Marketing Manager you will play a crucial role in further developing Cision’s digital marketing strategy.
You will lead our paid marketing campaigns, across channels including paid search, paid social and display, to provide the sales teams with great leads to achieve the UK commercial targets. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, optimising and reporting our paid media acquisition strategy.
You will work closely with our UK marketing team, global digital acquisition team and the wider Cision global marketing team to optimize and execute our digital strategy.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Build a high-performing lead acquisition program focusing on paid media platforms e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn
- Create new paid media lead acquisition initiatives for our B2B audience
- Manage paid media monthly budget and develop reports and analytics of paid campaigns, demonstrating return on investment
- Perform “deep dives” for any identified areas of concern, interest, or opportunity, proactively proposing solutions and ‘test and learn’ opportunities
- Perform regular keyword research, preparation and analysis and weekly negative keyword research and search query reporting
- Create content for landing pages to be used for paid campaigns, ensure they are optimized for conversions and can be tracked for reporting.
- Champion iterative testing: from targeting, ad placement, ad formats, alphas/betas
- Manage tracking set up, feed management, and any necessary tech and creative requirements for remarketing and prospecting activities
- Collaborate with other teams – sales, marketing, brand, and agency partners - to design high-converting campaigns to improve lead quality and drive conversion toward pipeline goals
- Take ownership of our paid social enterprise 1:1 ABM strategy, working closely together with our UK Marketing Manager and Enterprise sales team
- Stay on top of competitor strategy and best practices, spreading this knowledge internally to help improve our campaigns
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A minimum 3 years of proven experience in B2B PPC - paid media campaign delivery, strategy, and optimisation
- Proficient user of Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Proficient user of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4 preferable)
- Experience with multiple platforms, e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- First-hand sales or pre-sales (SDR) collaboration experience
- Proactive communication style driving collaboration across different teams
Key internal relationships:
- You will work closely with our UK marketing team, global digital acquisition team and the wider Cision global marketing team to optimize and execute on our digital strategy.
