Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Ecommerce team at French Connection’s Head Office in Camden.
Working with both third parties and internal teams, the successful candidate will have responsibility for managing French Connection’s email marketing and affiliate programmes. They will drive the execution of the trading calendar by delivering commercially and aesthetically strong email campaigns and by improving affiliate channel performance.
Roles and responsibilities of Role:
Email Marketing:
- Work closely with the line manager, trading and merchandising teams to translate the trading calendar into commercial and engaging marketing emails tailored to our audiences and markets
- Brief assets required to create emails to the design team, ensure that they are produced timely and to the required formats, whilst meeting the brand guidelines, best email practices and commercial mindset
- Work with the brand team and copyrighter to produce engaging and on brand email copy
- Build, proof test, schedule and report on email performance
- Coordinate improvements and drive innovation to email processes, templates & execution through a robust and commercially-focused testing plan
- Work with the CRM team on audience segmentation, email personalisation and other technical innovations to improve key performance metrics
- Keep on top of the new collection launches, product availability dates and sales metrics to brief and deliver the most engaging and revenue driving emails
Affiliates:
- Work with the line manager and affiliate network to manage our affiliate programme; onboard suitable new partners, work on initiatives to improve performance from the existing partners, set up new promotions and commissions in the platform, validate transactions, trouble-shoot tracking issues
- Drive customer acquisition through this channel by identifying commercial opportunities with the existing and new partners
- Manage day-to-day relationships with our affiliate partners
- Brief assets to the design team for agreed affiliate initiatives
- Report on the channel and individual partner’s performance on a weekly and ad hoc basis using the affiliate platform and Google Analytics data
Other:
- Support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, CRM Manager and the rest of the e-Commerce team with special projects and other ad hoc activity when required
- Work closely with the Brand marketing team to coordinate digital support for retail and consumer events where necessary
The successful candidate MUST have the required Skills:
-At least 1 year experience in an e-commerce business of briefing, building and launching emails using an ESP / customer platform
- Experience of working with affiliate partners and managing affiliate programmes
- Strong communication and organisational skills, great attention to detail
- Experience working with analytics packages, e.g. Google Analytics
- Skilled in Microsoft Office & Excel
- Proactive and can-do attitude
- Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
Experience of using Bloomreach and Awin advantageous but not a pre-requisite.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
