Location: Brackmills (NN4 7PW), Hybrid Working (after completion of 6-month probation) and UK travel for events.
Working Hours: 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a full-time position within the Digital Marketing department at igus. This opportunity will oversee all aspects of event planning and management, including digital, internal, and external events. This will also involve management of sample/merchandise used within the company for events and campaigns.
Job Responsibilities
- Planning events (sometimes multiple events at once), such as venue, seating, dining, technology, and guest list.
- Managing and overseeing events on the day, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with team, and organising vendors.
- Communicating with the marketing team to create effective advertisements for each event. Crafting marketing content when necessary, such as print and digital advertisements for individual events.
- Lead generation and management.
- Creating opportunities for future events during client liaisons and during events, including possessing some knowledge of the company to further these opportunities. As well as, proactively contacting influencers, universities, customers, and event planning companies.
- Issuing invoices and collecting payments in a timely manner.
- Confidence in travelling to new places and flexibility in hours.
- Co-ordinating marketing samples/merchandise for events and all other company needs
- Content creation for the igus digital marketing team.
- Initiative to create new ideas, constantly thinking about how igus can benefit.

- Marketing or event experience is desired, but not necessary
