Your responsibilities:
- Accountable for all marketing activities at Your Apartment
- Oversee, direct and lead the Marketing & Communications Assistant
- Executing seamless campaigns across a variety of mostly online & some offline channels which are considered, profitable and budgeted
- Driving knowledge of the brand amongst our key demographics with a focus on changing lifestyles, habits, desires, wants and needs
- Continually refining all comms across the business to simplify, amplify and satisfy the needs of our independent, locally aware and contactless business model
- Growing our portfolio of stakeholders external in each of our neighbourhoods
As the main creative marketing & PR lead, your day to day will involve:
Refining Content Creation:
- Lead the planning and execution of all content both creatively and strategically
- Managing and informing the annual content marketing & communications plan
- Mapping out day by day, week by week the stepping stones to create our brand tone of voice, values & vocabulary
- Teaming creativity with commercial validity to incorporate search, paid ads,
- Working closely with our creative partners to produce entertaining, engaging & purpose driven visual experiences online
CRM & Databases
- Drill down into niches to harvest GDPR compliant data to form tomorrows Your Apartment fandom
- Reviewing, enhancing & redefining all email, SMS, chatbot, flowbot communication with guests
- Streamlining all comms to usher guests through the customer journey
Reputation & Relations
- Strategically striving to further improve Your Apartment's rep online & amongst industry peers (incl. use of TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, Trustpilot, etc.)
- Support the Reservations Team when delivering on Guest Experience from using during and post stay feedback and online reviews as well as adding to and reviewing the complaints resolution log
- Incentivising & rewarding positive word-of-mouth & word-of-mouse
- Seeking out, curating and deriving strong meaningful relationships with all internal stakeholders
- Seeking out, curating and deriving strong meaningful relationships with external stakeholders in each of our neighbourhoods across the UK & Ireland
- Liaising day to day with local, national and industry press & media relations to put Your Apartment front & centre
Reporting
- Preparing weekly, monthly reports, quarterly & annual reports for management to demonstrate the value, achievements and ROI from all creative, marketing & PR activities

- Reinventing yourapartment.com as the central ecosystem in which our business operates and acquires growth
- Objectively driving direct bookings & revenue via our website
- Collating, analysing & evaluating both top and deep level data to support and inform your marketing & communication tactics
Knowledge & Skillset Requirements
All candidates must be able to provide proof that they have completed a professionally recognised qualification or certification in Business, Marketing, PR, Advertising or Communications. These will include but are not limited to a professional certification from the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) or an Undergraduate Degree in a Business, Marketing, PR, Advertising or Communications discipline.
The right candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate having good or advanced knowledge of the following:
- Hospitality Operations and/or some Hospitality Customer Service Training
- Mews (or another PMS System)
- Google Ads, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google MyBusiness & GA4
- Adobe Creative Cloud Programmes (in particular Photoshop & InDesign)
- Microsoft & OneDrive
- Mailchimp
- Guest Experience (or another CRM/customer experience platform)
- Monday.com
- Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads & Tik Tok Ads
- Effective SEO & Content Marketing Tactics & Strategy
- Wordpress CMS System

This is a hybrid role which is office based in Central London from 8.30am to 5pm, 4 days per week & 1 day working from home, Monday to Friday.
You may be required on some occasions to work evenings & weekends based on the demands of the role and the business.

Salary: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
