The Role & What You Will Be Doing
This role will support the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies for our brands within the Branded Business Unit. You will ensure that plans are in place to meet specific key performance indicators (KPIs) while aligning with local product strategies, market conditions, and corporate marketing directives.
A crucial aspect of the role will be leading and developing a team of Digital Marketing Officers, ensuring they are equipped to work on projects and campaigns that drive customer behaviour in accordance with our plans.
This role is based at our Hatfield Office, however business travel or working at other locations may be required

The Role & What You Will Be Doing
This role will support the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies for our brands within the Branded Business Unit. You will ensure that plans are in place to meet specific key performance indicators (KPIs) while aligning with local product strategies, market conditions, and corporate marketing directives.

- Develop and execute digital marketing strategy, aligning it with business goals and overall strategy.
- Lead and manage the Digital Marketing team, fostering their growth and development.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing to integrate digital initiatives with brand marketing plans.
- Integrate and work closely with the Marketing team, overseeing the management of digital activation alongside brand marketing plans.
- Utilise various digital channels (email, display, content, affiliates, SEO, PPC, social) strategically.
- Drive conversion, increase brand awareness, and track campaign performance for optimisation.
- Manage the upkeep of branded and Viatris websites, ensuring high quality and user experience.
- Support the sales team with digital brand activation, materials, and webinars.
- Maintain compliance with SOPs and legal requirements within the digital department.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Essential Experience and competencies
- IDM or Tech/Marketing related qualification.
- Experience as a Digital Marketing Manager, including team management.
- Understanding and experience in omnichannel marketing.
- Excellent written and communication skills, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in utilising and optimising digital marketing channels/platforms (social media, email, WebEx, CRM, analytics tools) in a B2B/B2C context.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and build lasting relationships.
- Familiarity with content management solutions (CMS) and Salesforce CRM, customer databases, SFMC (B2B marketing automation solution), Sitecore, or similar platforms.
Desirable experience and competencies
- Project management experience.
- Technical web-based knowledge including HTML and CSS - Desirable.
- Experience within the following platforms desirable: Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; VEEVA PromoMats, VEEVA CRM & VEEVA EDetails.
