Purpose of the Role
Time to Change (West Cumbria) Project CIC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in our organisation’s work within the community, making a meaningful impact on the lives of homeless individuals. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is committed to driving positive change. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a digital marketing role, with a strong background in social media campaigns and communication planning.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with the CEO to develop and maintain the Time to Change brand, ensuring it reflects our values, culture, and ethos, and raises our profile within the community.
Work with the staff team to contribute information, ideas, and research to drive current and future income streams.
Prepare, edit, and design targeted campaigns, bi-monthly stakeholder newsletters, and other publications.
Develop a forward-thinking marketing strategy and gain buy-in from key stakeholders within the organization.
Create engaging content across various departments that resonates with our audience and contributes to our growth.
Write and edit web content for marketing channels.
Attend conferences and fundraisers with the CEO to raise awareness of our cause.
Collaborate with external creative agencies to deliver impactful work for the organization.
Establish an integrated digital marketing strategy across all channels.
Develop, update, and maintain social media and website content.
Prepare monthly case studies (written and/or videos) to promote our services to staff members and clients.
Prepare and distribute press releases, arrange media interviews, and respond to media inquiries.
Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant platforms.
Prepare monthly reports for the Board of Directors, providing updates on progress as required.
Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI.
Develop a PR and Communications plan to maximize opportunities for promoting our services through external stakeholders and media.
Build strong working relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets, as well as specialist publications.
Establish connections with communications professionals in the third sector and/or partnership organizations.
Support the CEO in developing internal communications plans.
Collaborate with Together We Can Fundraise to identify and apply for grant funding opportunities from Trusts and Foundations.
Prepare grant applications in partnership with Together We Can Fundraise.
Adhere to TTC policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as required by the role.
Person Specification
Skills and Experience
Passionate about supporting vulnerable people who have experienced homelessness, including those with complex needs such as addiction, offending, and mental health issues.
Previous experience in marketing, public relations, digital marketing, or a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering successful strategies and campaigns across a range of marketing channels.
Minimum of 3 years of digital marketing experience, with a demonstrated ability to achieve business KPIs.
Proficient in using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google AdWords.
Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to develop compelling content.
Strategic thinker with a creative and innovative approach.
Ability to pitch to the media, secure coverage, and establish strong relationships with traditional media outlets.
Understanding of social media platforms and experience working with bloggers.
Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to adapt and perform well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Goal-oriented with keen attention to detail.
Effective team player.
Understanding of the charity sector is advantageous.
