On The Rocks Bar Crawl began in Brighton in 2016 and has since expanded to over 3+ UK cities and International cities including Barcelona, Melbourne and Sydney. We are nightlife specialists and take pride in creating a safe and fun space for tourists, students and locals alike to explore the incredible nightlife of the cities we run in. We are currently going through a period of immense growth and are branching out into further cities and expanding our line-up of tours. All of our head office operations run out of Brighton however we have managers in each city that collaborate with our head office team daily.

On The Rocks Bar crawl are looking for a fun, motivated and creative digital marketing apprentice to work with our head office team and to help take our online presence to the next level.

What we’re looking for: As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for a passionate and creative Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our marketing team. If you have a love for nightlife, a knack for digital marketing, and a desire to learn and grow, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Skills / Desirable criteria.

- A passion for digital marketing and a genuine interest in the bar crawl industry.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creating engaging

and persuasive content.

- Familiarity with SEO and SEM best practices, including keyword research and

optimization techniques.

- Proficiency in social media platforms and their analytics tools. Proficiency in social

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.

- Creative thinking and the ability to contribute fresh ideas to marketing campaigns.

- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects

simultaneously.

- A self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

Responsibilities:

- Optimise and track SEO: Monitor search engine rankings and make data-driven

adjustments to ensure maximum visibility and organic traffic for OTRs website.

- Track SEM analytics and make weekly adjustments to ensure optimum performance:

Optimise our paid advertising campaigns by analysing keyword performance, refining ad copy, and adjusting bidding strategies to drive high-quality traffic and conversions.

- Copyright and schedule content for OTRs social media accounts: Create engaging and captivating social media content that reflects our brand's fun and lively personality.

Collaborate with the team to brainstorm ideas, write compelling copy, and schedule

posts across various platforms.

- Social media analytics tracking and reporting: Monitor key performance indicators

(KPIs), such as engagement rate, reach, and conversions on our social media channels.

Provide regular reports and insights to the marketing team, highlighting areas of

improvement and opportunities for growth.

- Influencer and partnerships planning and implementation: Identify relevant

influencers and potential partnerships to expand OTRs reach and enhance brand

awareness. Collaborate with influencers to create exciting campaigns and track their

impact on our audience engagement.

- Email marketing: Assist in planning and executing email marketing campaigns,

including creating eye-catching designs, crafting persuasive copy, and segmenting

email lists. Measure the effectiveness of email campaigns and suggest improvements

based on metrics and customer feedback.

- Competitor research and analysis in new OTR cities: Conduct thorough research on

competitor bar crawl companies in new cities where we plan to expand. Analyse their marketing strategies, identify gaps, and propose innovative ideas to stay ahead of the competition.

- Other roles and responsibilities may arise as the job progresses.
