The Company
Smart Display are a well-established and respected exhibition and event contractor based in West Yorkshire. A rapidly growing company specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of exhibition stands for clients at events across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
As an ambitious team with a strong work ethic and a passion for creative ideas and delivering great events for our clients, we are now seeking a Marketing Executive to join our ranks and help us achieve our growth plans for 2023/2024 and beyond.
The Role
The successful applicant would enjoy a unique opportunity to be a part of planning and building the company marketing strategy from the ground up. Working with other departments, you will identify opportunities to improve the companies marketing activity, develop goals and a strategic plan and then put this into practice with the support of the management team.
The ideal person would not only help us develop and implement a robust social media strategy, but also help boost our exposure within the industry and analyse all our marketing, sales and customer service activity to help us better focus our resources.
Key Job Functions:
- Social Media Marketing across various platforms.
- Analyse the performance of marketing campaigns – Capitalising on those performing well.
- Assisting with technical SEO tasks whilst carrying out website support duties.
- Researching and creation of fresh/ relevant exhibition blog content, linking to social media and the Smart Display website.
- Working closely with our in-house design time, developing templates, and working to key brand guidelines.
- Event Attendance and Networking.
- Working with the Sales Team to come up with relevant marketing strategies including organisation of our own exhibitions and events.
- Work with the sales and management team to ensure that our clients have the best experience possible, before, during and after their event.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working to brand standards and brand guidelines.
- A degree or equivalent marketing qualification would be beneficial.
- Some events and/or exhibition Industry experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Impressive content writing skills creatively and the ability to develop original content.
- Good knowledge of SEO techniques and understanding of google analytics.
- Adobe Suite experience with emphasis of Photoshop.
- Ability to create design templates, including video and content creation.
- Basis HTML knowledge and ability to collaborate across internal departments.
- An energetic and proactive attitude!

Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
