Job description
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Executive, who has a good knowledge of digital marketing, experience in marketing communications and a creative thought process. With a full understanding and experience of the marketing mix, you will deliver concise campaigns effectively and to deadlines.
Department: Marketing
Hours: Monday to Friday; 9am – 5.30pm
Key duties:
- Managing and implementing marketing communications across stakeholders and customers.
- Executing various marketing communication projects across multiple channels.
- Improving our digital content across all channels and looking to increase KPI’s on followers and engagement.
- Create and maintain engaging content across all campaigns, to suit each channel.
- Content idea generation based on previous data and research.
- Working collaboratively with Ecommerce team to produce relevant marketing materials and campaigns.
- Analyse performance across all platforms and report to management on findings and any suggestions to improve performance.
- Ensuring our marketing communications are aligned with our sales team and they are fully kept aware of our plans and campaigns.
- Undertake and deliver projects efficiently and to specified timings.
- To support with the creation of a variety of marketing activities through several marketing channels.
- Website management & development.
- Digital and e-marketing development and distribution
- Building content calendars that ensure the right content is pushed out through the right channels and at the right time.
- Planning developing and copywriting/storyboarding content in all formats including press releases, opinion pieces, webinars, videos, case studies, web content etc.
- Keeping up to date with the latest trends and technologies surrounding digital marketing and making recommendations on areas for improvement.
- Implementation of promotions.
- To carry out projects issued, with care and attention to detail.
- To gauge competitive costs for the activities undertaken.
- Inputting into the generation of ideas for further marketing development.
- Adhering to all departmental procedures and creating new procedures where/if required.
In addition to these functions, the employee is required to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business.
Core Competencies:
- Graduate status preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with responsibility working within a Marketing role.
- B2B experience preferred.
- Experience of marketing communications, digital marketing and creative thought process is a must.
- Established track record in creating successful marketing content from inception to finish.
- A proven track record in managing a brand online and creating and implementing digital strategy and design concepts.
- An advanced understanding of all digital marketing and be able to deliver on all types of creative content (images, videos, gifs, webinars, sales collateral etc.)
- Experience and examples of an exposure to all levels of marketing.
- Demonstrated research skills to develop, write and produce both written and video content.
- An excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
- Being able to work efficiently and to deadlines stated.
- Being organised in working through tasks in the assigned way and updating all elements of the tasks assigned.
- Excellent literacy, spelling and grammar and high attention to detail.
- A positive approach and the ability to adapt to changes, you will work well within a dynamic team, meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations.
- Good interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with users across all levels of ability and seniority, by phone, email and face-to-face.
- An eagerness to learn new skills and an ability to adapt quickly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good time management skills with ability to prioritise jobs and multi-task.
