Job description
Works with the team to oversee the implementation of our clients' marketing plans, including promotional materials, advertising opportunities, and client acquisition. Reports to and coordinates with other team members to manage clients marketing objectives, and activities.
Main duties include:
- Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns on search engines
- Managing clients expectations whilst building meaningful relationships
- Conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences
- Technical WordPress website SEO management and development
- Writing and proofreading creative copy for blogs, press releases, emails, websites, SEO, print and other
- Assisting in the creation of video and storyboards to be implemented for marketing purposes
- Managing PR initiatives (influencer marketing and link building)
- Coordinating internal marketing
- Monitoring performance and reporting
- Keeping up-to-date with current digital trends and suggesting new ideas to enhance the digital strategy of the organisation

Personal Specification Essential Criteria
- Demonstrable experience in using SEO in a professional and/or promotional capacity.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills, and a keen eye for detail.
- A creative flair in the generation of fun and original online content.
- A good standard of computer literacy including the use of Macs, Microsoft Word, Google and Microsoft Excel.
- Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
- A good sense of humour and a proactive, positive attitude.
- An interest in digital and digital marketing trends and developments.
- An organised and reliable approach to work.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in developing content that ranks highly on search engines.
- Experience in the promotion and PR of content to build valuable links
- Experience in working with WordPress for technical SEO.
Overview of Employment
- Salary for the Digital Marketing Manager will be dependent on experience
- A permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based 50% at home and 50% at our central Bristol office
- Working hours are 9am-5.30pm Mon - Thu and 830am-430pm Fri
- Annual holiday entitlement is 25 days + bank holidays
