Mount Sinai Education Inc. (a.k.a. Math Project) is looking to hire a digital marketing intern with strong illustration and graphic design skills and interest in digital marketplaces. This is a new venture where an established firm with a strong track-record in the education space is looking to expand its offerings by utilizing various online marketplaces in the digital marketing space.
Job Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a motivated candidate with an intertwining interest in digital media illustrations, graphic design, and math to join our team. The candidate will:
- Work closely with our Senior Curriculum Manager, producing images for textbooks
- Strengthen their graphic design, research and illustration skills by researching digital marketplaces, analyzing popular trends K-12 math educational products and creating illustrations accordingly.
- Perform search engine optimization and website updates
- Create content for social media platforms (reels, memes, infographics, etc.)
- Email marketing, blogging, influencer marketing
Job Requirements:
- Strong graphic design and illustration skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Canva (or similar graphic design software)
- Strong video editing skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality
- Should have your own laptop
- Comfort with various social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Facebook)
- Desire to learn more about knowledge sharing platforms
Additional Information:
- The candidate must be a self-starter and be willing to work independently as well as collaborate with other team members where necessary.
- The candidate can work remotely but must recognize the importance of timely submissions in order to avoid bottlenecks in workflow.

For a full-time co-op position, the following criteria must be met:
The student must be enrolled in a post-secondary program or course with a WIL component applicable to the semester of the work placement and must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
