Great Little Breaks is the specialist UK short breaks division within the HotelshopUK group. We work with a variety of accommodation providers, attractions and partners, handpicking the best the UK has to offer and combining them together to create memorable short breaks for both our direct and retail customers.
About You
We are looking for a pro-active and results orientated digital marketing manager with experience in growth digital marketing. You must have a passion for digital techniques and technologies and, for customer centric communications. You will have experience of managing a team, leading and motivating and, be comfortable working with stakeholders across departments. You will have a creative flair and an eye for detail with a willingness to get stuck in and go the extra mile. Previous experience of PPC campaigns, SEO, eMarketing, Google
Analytics, ROI, creating and managing a marketing plan, working to a budgets to exceed targets is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all creation, fulfilment, execution, analysis and review of all of great little breaks marketing activities
- Focus on digital marketing however, the team cover all aspects of marketing so will have to be involved in both offline and online marketing activities
- Develop and create a digital strategy and plan to drive the growth of the organisation, in line with the organisation's strategy and objectives
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure that digital marketing campaigns are successful
- Monitor and assess the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing and make recommendations for implementation
- Support the organisation in the development of new digital marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Liaise with external partners and agencies for the development of digital campaigns
- Create and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive website traffic, leads and bookings
- Analyse and evaluate the performance of campaigns and make adjustments as necessary
- Develop engaging content for digital marketing campaigns, website and social media channels
Skills & Qualifications
Essential –
- 3-5 years’ digital marketing experience
- 3-5 years’ team management experience
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
- Proven experience in developing and managing digital marketing campaigns

- Excellent knowledge of SEO, PPC, social media and email marketing
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends
- Experience in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative and innovative approach
- Knowledge of HTML and web development
- Experience of managing teams
- GCSE English & Maths
- Technically confident and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hootsuite and Canva
- Excellent project management skills
- A passion and knowledge of CRM and best practice
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and to tight timescales when necessary
- Possess excellent communication skills and able to follow and adhere to company policy and practices
- A confident and articulate communicator
Desirable –
- Written & verbal communicator at all levels
- Customer focused
- Knowledge of email marketing systems – preferably Emarsys eMarketing Systems
- Travel background

Hours of work
37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9-5pm, ½ hour lunch
Flexibility
Due to the nature of the business, a degree of flexibility is required, and the post holder may be required to perform certain tasks not specifically referred to above, i.e., exhibitions, educational trips etc.
Health & Safety
- To act on your responsibilities detailed in the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
- To demonstrate a working knowledge of fire prevention and to follow the company’s evacuation plan on hearing the alarm.
- To be security conscious with respect to staff/property/welfare and to report suspicious circumstances to your manager.
General duties
- To familiarise yourself with your departmental standards of performance and to be able to demonstrate their application
- To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times
- To co-operate and communicate with colleagues, and Management to ensure effective department teamwork and high morale
- To attend any meetings, training sessions or courses that may be beneficial to you and your department
- To follow any procedures set up for energy conservation
