We are a family-run Craft Publisher that specialises in producing books in the hobby and craft sector. We publish our work globally through our publishing programme, along with concept publications that are designed for specific markets and brands.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Assistant to develop marketing campaigns from the ground up. Focusing on developing and strengthening the business's brand awareness and profitability. This role is to work as a Marketing Assistant across all social media and content communications and channels, with a focus on supporting and developing the social content strategy & activations, monitoring performance, and creating and scheduling content across multiple social channels.
This person will support driving the KPIs and commerce through the power of social.
A knowledge or understanding of hand craft would be a bonus.
Reporting into the Social Media Manager the role will work closely with other internal team members to deliver creative and seamless activations, driving growth and commercial KPIs.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate content across all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube and other relevant platforms.
- Work with our Social Media Manager to publish all content to channels on a daily basis in line with Marketing calendars.
- Assist with generating creative ideas for social content including campaign assets, real-time videos and copy.
- Create relevant re-active assets for campaigns, in particular Instagram Stories, Instagram Reels.
- Curate an image library to leverage across social media assets – Pinterest boards, graphics, feed fillers.
- Assists Social Media Manager with campaign projects, content strategy, content creation, and community management.
- Work to develop new social initiatives to drive KPI’s i.e partnerships, competitions, giveaways, influencer content.
- Analyse and report on success on a monthly basis.
- Monitor competitor activity and social trends on a weekly basis to ensure the brand remains relevant.
THE CANDIDATE
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Social Media experience, ideally in fashion across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter. Focus on Instagram and Facebook is essential.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with social software’s i.e Facebook Business Manager / Planoly
- Familiar with Google Analytics is preferred but not essential
- Understanding on paid functionalities across social platforms viewed as a plus

Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: £19,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
