Digital Marketing Assistant
Office based (Ormskirk) but with some flexibility to work from home when needed.
This role is a chance to gain experience across the full digital marketing mix including email marketing, social media marketing, SEO, Google Ads, website upkeep, and digital content marketing.
If you are at the beginning of your marketing career, this is a great opportunity for you. You might be a recent graduate, or may have recently finished a marketing apprenticeship, or maybe you have some work experience or freelance experience in marketing and are ready to take a new position in a marketing team.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to messages and comments across social media channels
- Scheduling social media content
- Creating engaging content for a range of channels
- Assisting with email marketing
- Updating content on websites and assisting with SEO
- Assisting with PPC campaigns
- Working with reporting tools to improve marketing effectiveness
- Upholding and developing a growing number of brand identities
What we are looking for:
- A desire to learn and expand your skillset
- A marketing or related qualification e.g. apprenticeship, degree, or equivalent experience
- An understanding of marketing principles and theories
- Excellent written communication
- Experience using Facebook, Instagram and other social media channels
- Comfortable using new pieces of software
- Strong problem solving skills
- An eye for design and visual balance
- A can-do attitude
