Our new apprenticeship programme is designed to give you a broad understanding of our commercial Oncology business unit and how we market medicines alongside being involved in a variety of critical transformational activities and projects we are delivering to the business and our customers.
During this 39 month programme, you will be embedded in a highly driven and successful team in London Pancras Square, whilst having the opportunity to interact and work with other parts of the business that will help build your skills in digital marketing.
Throughout your Digital Marketing apprenticeship with us you could carry out some of the following activities:
Market research – both qualitative and quantitative
Data analysis and report writing
Digital, business, and brand strategy– e.g., understanding business needs and aligning with digital efforts and tools
Campaign build, implementation, and optimisation
Platform and channel excellence capability building
Marketing capability building – programme design input and delivery
Working in diverse cross-functional teams to deliver innovative projects aligned to our therapy areas within oncology
What you’ll learn
The fundamentals of modern marketing, customer experience, analytics, and innovative technologies. Including strategic and operational delivery of business plans.
How medicines are brought to market and commercialised, the applicable regulations and codes we work by and the science behind our portfolio.
Leadership, organisational and collaboration skills that are transferable to future roles.
Understanding the NHS and how we as a pharmaceutical company work with them.
Working with our capabilities function to understand how we approach learning and development at AstraZeneca.
Training and Development {Fixed paragraph}
AstraZeneca will sponsor you through your Digital Marketer at London Southbank.
The apprenticeship combines working, earning a full-time salary, with fully funded part-time university learning (on average 1 day/week). This will give you the opportunity to gain a Digital Marketer degree, just as you would if you went to university full-time, with the advantage of gaining relevant work-life skills and the excitement of helping to develop new medicines whilst taking your first steps towards a rewarding career.

Entry Requirements {Fixed paragraph}
5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grades 9 to 4 including English and Maths.
To have achieved or predicted to achieve a minimum of 3 A levels, Grades - BCC (worth 104 UCAS points), OR BTEC National Diploma DMM (worth 112 UCAS points) OR Access to HE qualifications with 9 Distinctions and 36 Merits OR equivalent Level 3 qualifications (worth 112 UCAS points)

This is a 39 month fixed term contract opportunity based at Pancras Square, London with a base salary of £21,500 + 11% benefits fund + bonus.
At AstraZeneca, we aim to set you up for success and we recognise the challenges that starting a new job can bring. We therefore offer a relocation package to help with the costs and process of moving for candidates who currently live more than 60 minutes from the site location for this Apprenticeship.
