We are looking for a driven Digital Marketing Apprentice, with a big passion for digital marketing. As a Digital Marketing Apprentice in our fast-growing company, you will be responsible for supporting in creating and managing client’s marketing campaigns on web, social media and other digital marketing platforms. You will identify marketing trends, support in planning campaigns and use web analytics tools to analyse the performance of the campaigns. You’ll be able to make recommendations, build engaging campaigns, manage website projects and most importantly be ready to make a real difference and demonstrate the results.

The role:
Support in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies for clients

Work on managing client websites from start to finish including design, technical functionality, content, upgrades, enhances and ongoing support

Manage client PPC campaigns to drive high-quality traffic to websites providing regular analysis and report summaries of results to help make recommendations to the business

Optimize websites for search engines using SEO best practice techniques

Assist in executing client social media strategies to engage with customers and build brand awareness

Work to media budgets ensuring campaign costs are justified, measured and realistic and that spend remains within budget parameters

Analyze and prepare reports on the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts using analytics tools

Measure key performance metrics, including website traffic, engagement, leads, conversion rate and overall return on investment

Proactively seek out and identify opportunities to create value and increase revenue through cross-selling activities and digital transformation

Oversee innovative digital project developments

Develop and maintain Google Analytics measurement platform

Monitor user behavior to guide recommendations

Provide technical & digital support to all areas of the business

Liaise with external stakeholders

Entry requirements

Hold a minimum of C grade or above in GCSE Maths and English

Experience in relevant fields (whether in employment or personal)

Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics

Working experience with website analytics, social media platforms and digital ad platforms is desirable

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies

Strong analytical thinking skills

The ability to work as part of a team

Training to be provided

You will undertake the ground breaking Apprentify Digital Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship.

We have designed our programme to offer you 4 distinct routes to focus your career path and specialise in areas such as Social Media, Search Engine Marketing, Web Design or Web Development. These paths are designed to jump start your career and make you stand out in a competitive field increasing your future earning potential.

During the 15 months of training you will learn cutting edge theory and industry practice across three Knowledge Modules:

Marketing Principles – starting with the basics you will learn how to effectively target customers based on their wants and desires as well as how the sales and marketing funnels work. You will understand what makes customers buy or not buy and how marketing can influence this as well as how to effectively focus on target markets and manage customers to make them loyal to a business.

How the Web Works – delving into the technical you will learn the Principles of Coding and how marketers create effective web sites, designs and user interfaces. This includes how web design and development drive engagement and conversions.

Driving Return on Investment – using data to create detailed customer insight, you will learn how to use industry leading platforms (including Google Analytics) to understand the online customer journey and improve your marketing based on customer usage of your website.
