- A relevant STEM degree or equivalent experience
- You will have broad digital technology know-how, in particular 3D CAD, Simulation and visualisation
- You will have experience and an ongoing desire to learn in the fields of Virtual, Mixed and Augmented Reality and a curiosity in how Digital Twins can transform the way engineers work
- You have project management experience and the ability to plan, deliver and complete several projects at the same time including the ability to effectively prioritise against business requirements
- Ability to collaborate and communicate daily with peers and cross-functionally between departments and across the region and with global counterparts. You can present your ideas clearly
- Comfortable working autonomously, managing your own workload and responsible for meeting your goals and challenges

Key tasks and responsibilities:
Support the delivery of the Digital Acceleration Technology strategy for Nissan European Production Engineering
- Lead the adoption of VR within NEPE by becoming an exert user. Establish governance and define the training requirements for the successful adoption of VR technology. Document use cases and associated benefits
- Support R&D activities around other engineering related Digital Technologies, such as Digital Twin & laser scanning
- Engage internal stakeholders to gather use case requirements and build business cases to justify investment in digital technology
- Work cross functionally with IS and IT to ensure an aligned approach to the overall Digital Acceleration Roadmap
- Assist in the assessment of current PLM toolset utilisation within the engineering department, defining and supporting gap closure strategies
