This role sits within Tate’s Digital department in the Digital Content team. The Digital department is responsible for developing Tate’s website and online content, delivering digital experiences in our galleries and ensuring Tate continues to be a leading digital presence in the art world and beyond.
You will take ownership of how content is presented across our website, playing an important role in shaping our online identity and engaging our audience effectively.
As a Digital Content Manager, you will lead the website content team to ensure Tate’s website is user-friendly as possible with clear and concise editing and copywriting skills that follows content design best practices. Daily tasks will include team management, prioritising and actioning various website requests from across Tate, from the simple to the complex. You will champion best website practice especially accessibility and will support the Head of Content to spread this knowledge across various teams. The role will include supporting the team on bigger projects such as improving online journeys to visit the galleries or become a member.
