Job description
QUALITY TECHNICIAN VACANCY for our prestigious Coventry based client! With a starting salary of £25 - £30k plus shift allowance.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Goods Inwards Inspection
- Roaming Audits - Production
- Capability Studies when required
- ISIR Measurement - Customer PPAP Submissions - Support
- ISIR Measurement – Supplier PPAP Submissions - Support
- Internal Audits – IATF – Process, System & Product
- Offsite Inspection – When Required
- Sleeve Inspection - Control of Inspectors
- Sleeve Reject/Scrap Control Records
- Reject/Scrap Control – All Production Areas
- Reject/Scrap Control Records
- Warranty Returns
- MSA
- Continuous Improvement
- Raising 8D Internally for Supplier/Internal Concerns
- Maintaining Goods Inwards Records
- All Basic General Measurement Requirements
SKILLS NECESSARY:
- To have a good understanding of Manufacturing Processes.
- To be Computer Literate (Microsoft Office Packages).
- To have good verbal communication skills.
- Good Knowledge of Quality Procedures/Principles/Techniques.
- Good use of Manual Measurement Equipment (Calipers/Verniers/DTI gauge/Micrometer/Shadow Graph/Surface finish checks).
- IATF 16949:2016 or ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor experience advantageous.
- CMM Knowledge advantageous but not essential.
