Working with a number of top brands including, Nike, Google, Amazon and more, creating content for sponsors has been a key focus.

As the Digital channels manager you will be responsible for duties including producing content with the team, uploading and maintaining the schedule, distributing content on all platforms including Youtube, Tiktok, instagram, FB & all relevant social platforms. Along with community management to identify key community desires.

We need someone with experience running the nuts and bolts of a YouTube channel and managing the creation of content to go on multiple social channels. An excellent understanding of developing an audience with great content, and understanding analytical insights. This person is up to date on platform changes and video trends, knows the art and science of a perfect title and thumbnail for content, and directs short snappy content.

Responsibilities:

  • Uploading content for Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram and other social media platforms
  • Edit content & lead team of Editors to edit on brand providing editorial feedback and direction
  • Create, and distribute short form content across all platforms
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of all social media channels
  • Create and maintain an ongoing content calendar & scheduling using appropriate tools e.g. Hootsuite,
  • Manage the supply of video clips including shorts, reels & long form content
  • Manage and own all clips and folders
  • Research on what content is performing well on platforms, in order to advise on channels’ content needs, and generate ideas
  • Devise and implement audience development strategies for all platforms to increase viewing and follower number
  • Write/design or optimize metadata and thumbnails on all videos.
  • Keep up to date with platform updates and trends and work with team to make make corresponding recommendations and pivots for our channels
  • Monitor daily performance on a video, format, title, and channel level - flagging noteworthy indicators and suggesting optimization pivots based on initial data
  • promotional and marketing campaigns
  • Community /Inbox management (Social media)
  • Email Inbox management - management of main company inboxes monitoring inbound requests and fielding responses
  • Community management across social media with a focus on Instagram and TikTok and Youtube
  • Responding to comments and providing a sentiment tracker ( what are the most comment requests and comments)
  • Answering audience queries and DMs and comments

Content Manager Requirements:

  • Video editing experience in Premiere or equivalent tools
  • Basic Photoshop experience is preferred.
  • 3 years experience or in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert with content management systems.
  • Experience with social media management.
  • Creativity and the ability to develop original content.
  • Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.
  • Strong leadership qualities.

Are you the right candidate?

  • Direct and extensive experience with running YouTube channels or other, similar community-driven online video portals. Must be able to demonstrate having successfully grown an online community (channel or channels) in terms of both subscriber numbers and video views / engagement.
  • Must have a good understanding of the operational challenges of cutting down and repurposing content cross platforms
  • Have a proven understanding of the current global digital landscape outside of YouTube, including relevant online locations for popular video sharing sites and popular social networks.

Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm

Salary: £35,074.00-£37,655.00 per year
