Our Company

Core services include repair, maintenance, construction and installation of utility and infrastructure assets. We provide traffic management through our sister businesses; Go Traffic Management and Capital Traffic Management. Vegetation management and tree cutting activities are provided through EOS Contracting.

Our Role
As a Dig Team, some of your duties to include:
· All trenching works
· Construction of Modular chambers
· Installation of Cabinet plinths/shells
· Test rodding, roping and sub-ducting through P.I.A
· Clearing of blockages on the Openreach Network (accreditations preferred)
All works undertaken to adhere to HSG47 guidelines and to client specification.
As a Dig Team, you will be competent in working on Utilities Civils projects. You will be able to engineer solutions on site and focus your gang on adopting a “right first time” policy.
You will work with the scheduling team ensuring programmes are met and delivered accordingly. You will provide support to ensure that the company’s work is effectively completed through communication with internal and external customers, as well as focusing on the customer’s needs
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone to:
· Have excellent knowledge of site safety and site set ups; with the public and team members welfare being essential.
· Have the knowledge and experience of working on utility projects
· Maintain a customer focus whilst working
· Have good timekeeping and good housekeeping with tools and equipment.
· Use GARD (smartphone system) to deliver all feedback for commercial and, where necessary, reinstatement feedback
· Liaise with the Support Services and Street works Team to ensure that FPN and Section74 liabilities are managed and focus on a right first-time attitude
Experience and Qualifications
· NRSWRA Operative
· Deep excavations
· Mini excavator up to 10 tone/above beneficial
· Full UK Driving Licence with towing capacity for digger
· Safe Dig/Cable avoidance accreditation (EUSR Preferred)
· Manual Handling
· First Aid
· Confined spaces
· Abrasive wheels
· Openreach accreditations(preferred): SA006(or equivalent), S7, DB1, CD1
